Did we go to one of his exhibitions at the art's centre (is it?) in Christchurch once? He had a self-portrait that he said he was unhappy with but was amazing...I think we went to his studio once too...if it is that is freaky cos I was thinking about that the other day and his painting!

it could be bree, though i don't have a clear memory of it.
his studio is at his home in sumner.
his stuff is amazing, and even more so 'in the flesh', so to speak.
